Last Updated: October 2025

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the WS Audit Engine processes and protects data when you use the audit feature to analyze public websites for Agent Experience Optimization (AXO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) readiness.

2. Data Collected

The WS Audit Engine processes only publicly available information, including:

  • Website URLs submitted by the user
  • Public HTTP headers, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and structured data (JSON-LD)
  • Audit result files (JSON and/or PDF)

No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected or processed.

3. Purpose of Processing

Collected data is used exclusively to perform AXO/AEO readiness assessments and generate corresponding audit reports. The analysis helps users understand how their sites appear to agents, crawlers, and answer engines.

4. Retention Policy

Audit reports (JSON and PDF) are stored temporarily—typically for up to 24 hours—to allow for user download. After this period, all reports and logs are automatically deleted. No persistent databases or tracking mechanisms are used.

5. Third-Party Services

If you enable optional AI visibility checks, search queries are sent to SerpAPI to evaluate your domain’s visibility on search engines. Only domain-related queries are transmitted; no user identifiers or personal data are shared.

6. Security Measures

  • Only HTTP/HTTPS requests to public URLs are allowed
  • Private IP ranges and internal networks are automatically blocked
  • Robots.txt directives are respected
  • No authentication, cookies, or credentials are used

7. User Responsibility

By submitting a URL, you confirm that the content is publicly accessible and that you have the right to analyze it. The WS Audit Engine is intended for diagnostic, educational, and compliance use only.
